At Afrikea, we believe that peace, sustainability, and social inclusion are the cornerstones of a thriving global community. That’s why we were honored to host the Global Peace Summit Kenya 2023, in collaboration with Global Peace Chain HQ and Global Peace Chain Kenya, where I served as the Assistant Country Director.
From February 9th to 11th, 2023, we brought together 94 international youth delegates from 74 nations and 530 Kenyan youth from across the country to engage in powerful discussions on peace, climate change, and social inclusion. The summit took place at Weston Hotel (9th–10th Feb) and concluded at the KICC Amphitheater (11th Feb).
One of the key highlights of this summit was my inauguration as a Peace by Tourism Ambassador by the Government of Kenya through the Ministry of Tourism, alongside other esteemed colleagues.
